Brindl will be joining NW Reign for her first indoor season. Brindl has coached beach with NW Reign the past three seasons with coach Suanne. Brindl joins our staff with immeasurable volleyball IQ and playing experience. Brindl recently graduated from Boise State with her master in kinesiology and undergrad in human movement and performance. She has also spent her summers training athletes at A3 where she continues to work.
Brindle went to Boise State as a graduate transfer after playing for four years at Florida Southern as a member of the indoor team. While at Boise Brindly completed and assisted in their beach program and coaching staff. At Florida she played 3 years as an outside and in her last season played libero and saw action in 134 matches and 492 sets overall. Brindle helped Florida Southern to four NCAA DII National Tournament appearances where they went a combined 6-4 during her career. She finished her career as FSC’s all-time leader in digs with 1,923, third in digs per set (3.91), tied for ninth in services aces (161), seventh in service aces per set (0.45) and fourth in sets played.
During her collegiate career she earned many honors including the following:
2016 AVCA Honorable-Mention All-American, 2016 AVCA All-South Region ... 2015 NCAA South Regional All-Tournament Team ... 2016 All-Sunshine State Conference (SSC), 2013 SSC Freshman of the Year, 2013 SSC All-Newcomer Team and two-time SSC Defensive Player of the Week ... Southern Florida Team MVP 2016 ... SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll 2013, 2015, 2016 and NACDA Academic Achievement Award 2016.
Brindly is a Camas native where she was a four-year letter winner in volleyball and was a three-time first-team all-league and three-time all-region honoree, including first-team all-region honors as a junior and senior ... earned league MVP honors the last two years ... was also a member of the honor roll all four years during high school and earned a T.O.D.A.Y. Foundations Volleyball Academic Achievement Award as a junior in 2011-12 ... lettered in softball in 2010 and 2011.
We are excited to bring Brindl on to our 18's pod where she can bring her passion and fresh perspective to the team and help our athletes in their recruiting process. In Brindl's spare time she says she "loves playing some more volleyball that includes beach, grass, or any surface where I can get my hands on a volleyball! I also enjoy weightlifting and getting active outside."
