As the Director Terin manages the operational responsibilities for the club, and will be the primary point of contact for club related questions with families, athletes, coaches, and CEVA. Before the indoor season begins Terin secures our gym space for practices, plans practice schedules, and works with the travel coordinator to plan tournament schedules. She also creates the budget for each team and organizes & prepares the administrative requirements for club. Additionally, Terin manages our coaching staff including recruitment, retention, monitoring, and training. She plans open gyms and coordinates the use of equipment, staff, and communication.
During the season Terin manages the equipment (balls, carts, nets, etc.), and inventory distribution of player gear for each team. She also chairs the club's board meetings, and all club related meetings along with content distribution and family communication. Additionally, she serves as liaison for coaches needing support and the float coaches attending additional practices and tournaments. When she is not at other team practices she is the head coach of our 14-1 team.
Post season Terin plans and schedules the Summer Camp sessions to give athletes a indoor summer experience preparing them for the school seasons. Be sure to say hello and introduce yourself when you see her around!
Terin joined us with an extensive background in business and volleyball. She is a graduate of Portland State University with a Bachelor's degree in Finance. She worked previously as a Financial Analyst before making the decision to stay home with her young children. She is also the assistant coach for the Clark College Penguins and is enjoying her second season with the program. Terin in married to PT and they have two children: Adelynn (10) and Brynleigh (4).
We are excited to announce that Jen will be joining the NW Reign BOD for the 2017/2018 season. As the Assistant Director Jen works directly with Terin. Her primary role is to manage the club's travel and tournament schedules. Jen secures all teams: hotels and airfare pre season. During this process she ensures that our club meets the requirements of stay and play policies while staying within our clubs budget. Additionally Jen secures all tournaments and submits each teams rosters within the correct format required by the tournament. She is the direct point of contact four our players, coaches and families in regards to travel and tournament schedules.
Outside of Reign Jen is the head volleyball coach at Prairie High School where her team is seeing great success. She is a well known coach in the area who joined us and hit the ground running. Last season she lead our 16-1 team to one of the highest finishes in club history. Her passion for the game, athletes, and life is infectious! We are so excited to have her join NW Reign's leadership.
Jen is married to Brent and together they have two boys: Kyler (4), and Colton(2). Next time you see Jen introduce herself and welcome her to NW Reign!
Coach Training & Admin
Join us in welcoming Bre to the NW Reign BOD. We are excited to add another new member this 2017/2018 season. Bre, a NW Reign coach joins the board after serving as a board member at her previous club.
Bre will be utilizing her strength in teaching and be the primary point of contact for our coaching staff. She organizes material to prepare our coaches for the upcoming season and ensures that they are trained within our club philosophy and guidelines.
Molly has been with NW Reign for 6 seasons. Molly is our primary admin support for all things tryout related and club wide communications. She brings a high level of professionalism and extreme organization to our tryout process. Molly prepares all pre tryout and tryout forms, organizes the player check in process, paperwork, coach paperwork, team selection, and payments. Her contribution is invaluable and greatly appreciated it. Be sure to give her an extra pat on the back when you see her!
Lenee serves on the NW Reign board as an "at large" member. She offers support to all board members on a needed basis and helps keep things running smoothly. She also helps in the basic management and content updates of our website. She has been with Reign for 7 years and brings a plethora of invaluable knowledge and experience.

Andrea is one of the co-founders of NW Reign Volleyball. For the 2016/2017 season NW Reign made the design to hire a club director and pass the responsibility to Terin Thilavanh. She spent 5 years serving as the club director for NW Reign. Her shared desire with co founder AJ Demlow to create an enriching environment for young female athletes quickly drew attention in Clark County. Together they built Reign on a foundation of ethical leadership, quality coaching, and competitive teams.
As Reign enters is 7th season, Andrea has stepped down from the board of directors and serves as a non voting member on an advisory panel. Andrea offers leadership guidance to the current BOD and also coaches our 18-1 team. Thank you for Andrea for developing a club that we are all proud of!
AJ is one of the co-founders of NW Reign Volleyball. For the 2016/2017 season NW Reign made the design to hire a club director and pass the responsibility to Terin Thilavanh. She spent 5 years serving as Co-Director for NW Reign. AJ along side Andrea were seeking a different club experience for their daughter's. Their vision became a mission which then turned into a reality. With lots of hard work they created a club that is focused on ethical leadership, quality coaching, and competitive experiences for athletes.
After 6 years of serving on the NW Reign board of director's AJ has stepped back to offer her support in an advisory role. AJ serves as a non voting member and offers her knowledge and expertise in board meetings. She also serves as a direct contact for Terin when additional support is needed.
